A major site redesign centered on an engaging supermodel search platform for an international fast-fashion retailer. In the online search, ordinary people upload their photos and create a public profile on the site to enter the contest. The people with the most votes from visitors have a chance to become a Seppälä model featured in fashion shoots in Paris, Berlin, New York, or London.
Launched in 2006 in five countries and six languages, the site has won numerous recognitions, including second prize in the annual Vuoden Huiput (“Best of the Year”) awards in Finland in 2006 and a Finalist Certificate at the New York Festivals in 2007.
Working as both the lead Concept Designer and Project Manager, I managed a team of developers and helped to define and design the site.
